6. (C) TASK ORGANIZATION (TF-1-11): The Task Organization changed repeatedly during this reporting period due to the necessity of detaching infantry companies OPCON to the mechanized battalion (TF 1/61) and Armor Battalion (TF 1/77) of the brigade, but basically the task organization consisted of four (4) rifle companies. There were periods where a tank company, calvary troop, and a mechanized scout platoon were placed OPCON to TF 1-11 for specific missions within the battalion’s area of operation. This after action report is prepared in four (4) phases described as follows: |
